Do you have
some Questions?
Shipping Information
What shipping methods do you offer for overseas orders?
We mainly provide two shipping methods: FCL (Full Container Load) and RORO (Roll-on/Roll-off) shipping. For small-batch orders or customized vehicles with special dimensions, we can also arrange LCL (Less than Container Load) shipping after evaluating the vehicle size and safety requirements. The specific method will be confirmed with you based on the order quantity, destination port and vehicle type.
How long is the total delivery time from order confirmation to arrival at the destination port?
The total delivery time includes two parts: production time and shipping time. Production time for standard HOWO-based special vehicles (such as water tank trucks, garbage trucks) is 20-35 working days; customized vehicles for special working conditions may take 45-60 working days. Shipping time varies by destination: it usually takes 25-40 days to European and American ports, 15-25 days to Southeast Asian ports, and 30-50 days to African and Middle Eastern ports.
Do you handle customs clearance documents for export?
Yes. We strictly adhere to compliant export procedures. We will provide a full set of legal customs clearance documents, including commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin (CO), and vehicle export inspection certificate. For countries with special requirements, we can also assist in applying for additional documents to ensure smooth customs clearance at your local port.
How are the vehicles packaged for shipping?
For container shipping, we will fix the vehicle on the container floor with high-strength steel wires and anti-slip pads to prevent displacement during transportation. For RORO shipping, the vehicle will be inspected for safety (braking system, tire pressure) and wrapped with anti-rust film for key parts (engine, chassis). No additional packaging fee is charged for standard packaging.
Can I specify a destination port or shipping forwarder?
Absolutely. You can inform us of your designated destination port and trusted shipping forwarder, and we will coordinate with them to complete the shipping arrangement. If you have no special requirements, we will recommend nearby major ports with stable schedules and competitive shipping costs based on your location.
Payments Questions
What payment terms do you accept for overseas orders?
We support mainstream international payment terms to ensure safety for both parties: T/T (Telegraphic Transfer) is the most commonly used method. For large orders (more than 5 vehicles), we also accept L/C (Letter of Credit) issued by a reputable bank. The specific payment ratio can be negotiated based on the order amount and cooperation history.
What is the payment schedule for a standard order?
The standard payment schedule is: 30% advance payment after signing the contract to start production, and 70% balance payment before shipping (against the copy of the bill of lading or shipping documents). For long-term cooperative customers, we can discuss more flexible payment terms (such as 20% advance + 80% balance) after mutual confirmation.
Do you accept partial payments or installment plans?
Partial payments (advance + balance) are accepted as per the above schedule, but full installment plans are not available for new customers. For bulk orders with a large amount, we can discuss phased payments linked to production progress (e.g., advance payment + progress payment + balance payment) after evaluating the credit standing.
Which currency do you trade in?
Our default trading currency is US Dollars (USD). If you need to use other currencies (such as Euro, GBP), we can quote and settle based on the real-time exchange rate of the central bank on the payment day, and the exchange rate difference risk will be clearly specified in the contract.
Is there a deposit refund policy if the order is canceled?
If the order is canceled by the customer before production starts, the advance deposit will be refunded after deducting the bank handling fee (usually 1-2%). If production has already started, the refund amount will be determined based on the progress of parts procurement and production (we will provide detailed cost statements). We recommend confirming all specifications before signing the contract to avoid cancellation.
Product Warranty
What is the warranty period for your HOWO-based special vehicles?
The warranty is divided into two parts: 1) The HOWO chassis (engine, gearbox, axle, etc.) enjoys the official warranty from SINOTRUK (CNHTC), which is usually 12 months or 100,000 kilometers (whichever comes first). 2) The special upper body (water tank, garbage compartment, sweeping device, etc.) provided by our cooperative manufacturers has a warranty period of 6 months or 30,000 kilometers (whichever comes first).
What is covered under the warranty?
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use (excluding wear parts). For the chassis, it includes free repair or replacement of faulty parts authorized by SINOTRUK. For the upper body, it covers free maintenance of structural failures, hydraulic system leaks, and electrical component malfunctions. Wear parts (tires, brake pads, filters, etc.) are not covered under the warranty.
How to claim warranty service overseas?
We provide two warranty support methods: 1) If there is a SINOTRUK official service center in your country/region, we will assist you in contacting them to complete the warranty claim with the vehicle VIN code and purchase contract. 2) For areas without official service centers, our professional after-sales team will provide remote technical guidance, and we will send the required replacement parts by international express (the cost of parts within warranty is free, and the express fee is negotiated based on the situation).
Does the warranty cover damage caused by improper use or harsh working conditions?
No. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper operation, overloading beyond the rated capacity, use in extreme environments not specified in the product manual, or unauthorized modification of the vehicle. We will provide pre-sales guidance on vehicle use and maintenance to help you avoid such issues.
Can I extend the warranty period?
Yes. We offer extended warranty services for both the chassis and upper body. The extended warranty period can be 6-12 months, and the specific cost and terms will be quoted separately based on the vehicle type and usage scenario. The extended warranty contract needs to be signed together with the sales contract.
